ChainBaker is run out of the UK and every single upload follows the same format - how to make one specific bread or pastry, start to finish, with nothing skipped. He covers sourdough, flatbreads, rye, brioche, and regional breads most channels never touch, like Georgian khachapuri and Moroccan batbout. There is no course being sold and no email list to join, just one specialist working through bread and pastry technique upload after upload. If you want to actually understand bread instead of just following a recipe once, ChainBaker is where to start.

Step 2 - Go to ChainBaker

Emma's Goodies teaches baking the way a patient friend would - no-knead breads, bagels, muffins, Italian pastries, and cheesecakes, all shown step by step with nothing held back for a paid version. She occasionally branches into easy everyday cooking, but baking is clearly what the channel is built around, and an audience in the millions is proof the teaching works. Nothing is locked behind a signup. If you want baking explained clearly by someone who has done it enough times to make it look easy, start here.

The Daily Bake goes deeper on the why than most baking channels bother to - Danish dough, a full apple pie masterclass, focaccia, and the reasoning behind each technique instead of just the steps. It is smaller than the others on this list but growing fast, and the instruction is precise in a way that rewards paying attention. She mentions the occasional sponsor, same as any creator, but there is no course or membership gating the actual teaching. If you already know the basics and want to understand what you have been getting wrong, this is the channel that will tell you.

Paul Hollywood needs no introduction, and his channel is mostly clips from his own TV cooking shows re-cut for YouTube, so it leans more toward general cooking than pure baking technique. But everything is free with nothing to buy, and when he is on bread specifically, decades of professional bakery experience come through. Worth having on the list for the moments he goes deep on dough, even if it is not as tightly focused as the other three channels here.
